Mowing That New Lawn

As soon as your lawn needs mowing, go ahead and mow it. Be careful when turning your mower, tender grass roots can be torn. Be sure the ground is not very damp. Don’t mow off more than 1/3 of the height of the grass. This can send the grass into shock.

Recommended mowing height is 2 1/2 to 3 inches.

Example: if mowing @ 3 inches, mow before grass is 4 1/2 inches tall.
