We will fertilize your lawn!

We apply a starter fertilizer when your lawn is seeded or sodded. This will last approximately one month. Therefore, fertilizer is recommended at one month after installation. A high nitrogen product is preferred. For example a 30-3-10 is recommended. The first number (30) is the nitrogen and should be the highest number.

Timing:
Early Spring: Crabgrass Preventive
Memorial Day: High Nitrogen
Labor Day: High Nitrogen
Thanksgiving: Winterizer

Or use a Scott’s 4 step program. Please consider that you may be able to have a professional apply your fertilizer for about the same price as you can do it yourself.
